چکیده

It is a well-known fact that water bodies are crucial for human life, ecosystems and biodiversity. Therefore, they subject to regulatory monitoring in terms of quality. However, land-use intensification, such as open-cast mining activities, can have direct impact on Unfortunately, situ measurements quality parameters spatially limited, costly time-consuming, which why we proposed combination hyperspectral data, data simple regression models this study estimate thus monitor various parameters. We focused the variables total iron, ferrous ferric sulphate chlorophyll-a. Unlike other studies, used airborne RGB ensure very high spatial resolution data. To investigate potential our approach, conducted simultaneous hyperspectral/RGB aircraft campaigns at different sites Spree River Germany pyrite weathering after activities. Appropriate were developed five mentioned above. The model with best performance each variable gave coefficient determination R2 64% 79%. This clearly shows monitoring. In further investigations, use machine learning techniques, well transferability bodies. approach presented here has great development method continuous still waters large watercourses, especially given freely available space-based missions via EnMAP.

Road Condition Mapping with Hyperspectral Remote Sensing

1. Introduction The quality standards for transportation infrastructure have evolved considerably over the last three decades. The data accuracy requirements to support road management have decreased from tens of meters to a few decimeters with annual update rates. Roads are prioritized for maintenance and treatment as a result of pavement inspections. The cost of frequent, comprehensive inspec...

Hyperspectral Airborne Remote Sensing of the Belgian Coastal Waters

On the 16th of June 2003 a CASI (Compact Airborne Spectrographic Imager) hyperspectral airborne remote sensing campaign took place above the Southern North Sea, just offshore of Oostende. In coincidence with the airborne overpasses seaborne measurements of water leaving reflectance and water quality parameters were performed. In addition near-simultaneous satellite imagery are available. This p...

Terrestrial Airborne Hyperspectral Remote Sensing (sebass): Applications to Remote Sensing of Mars

Researchers seek to identify dry lake bed deposits on Mars, if present. The Global Surveyor TES and Mars Odyssey THEMIS are primary tools in this search. However, there are no published thermal infrared spectrometer (hyperspectral) airborne studies of a dry lake bed. Here we present the first such study and the impacts on TES/THEMIS interpretations. This research addresses a looming gap in the ...

Object-oriented subspace analysis for airborne hyperspectral remote sensing imagery

An object-oriented mapping approach based on subspace analysis of airborne hyperspectral images was investigated in this paper. Hyperspectral features were extracted based on subspace learning approaches, in order to reduce the redundancy of spectral space and extract the characteristic images for the further object-oriented classification. In this paper, three kinds of spectral feature extract...
